    Dish Network Dish Network manufactures and sells their own equipment (DVR 921 is now $549)
    JVC DVHS HMDH40000 Record HDTV via FireWire input, older non DTS audio HMDH30000 is similar
    LG LST-3410A HDTV OTA Tuner / DVR with FireWire (also see LG's site)
  • I have the JVC HMDH30000 and LG LST-3410A from HDTV Time and am happy with them. My goal is to be able to record satellite HD programs, but at least this is a start...

  • Some Mitsubishi HDTV's have integrated Firewire. This may be the best option for DVHS recording, but I have no experience using that setup.
