Prior to 04/29/2001, the search index for regentry only indexed 2,287 of the 2,480 entries.

After repeated attempts, I was unable to get a complete index. I deleted some of the entries, then re-indexed. I was then able to manually combine the .resulting .dat files and build a complete index. This appears to be working, but it is possible that the index will get reinitialized from time to time. If that happens, then the original problem will return until I am able to copy the complete index back.
